Croyde really is the perfect base for your holiday, whether you’re looking to surf your days away, laze on the beach, or saunter along the coastal path there’s so much to explore and do. Here’s just a few of our favourites…

SURF, SUP, AND COASTEERING - With three amazing beaches, brilliant surf schools, and plenty of places to hire your gear - there really is no excuse not to get wet.

BODY-BOARDING - All you need is a soft foam board and - you guessed it - your body! Wetsuit optional!

SWIMMING POOLS - Just in case the ocean isn’t wet enough you can take the plunge in Croyde, Saunton, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe and Barnstaple.

PLAY PARKS AND SKATE PARK - Both are just behind the village hall, over the road from our campsite. Nearby pubs The Manor and Billy Budds also have small play parks in the pub garden.

CRAFT AND FARMER’S MARKET - Check out Croyde’s weekly markets held on the village green and village hall.
DECKCHAIR CINEMA - Our local cinema right here in the village hall. Get there early to bag the double deckchairs!

KITE SURFING, FISHING, KAYAKING - Fantastic ways to enjoy the beach and sea.

PARAGLIDING - Experience North Devon from the skies!

HORSE RIDING - A beautiful way to explore the area and live out your dream of galloping along the beach.

GOLF - Tee off with a sea view at Saunton golf course just up the road.

CYCLING - Take it easy along the Tarka Trail stopping off for a slice of cake at Fremington Quay cafe, or test your mettle on some of the more challenging coastal routes.
WALKING - Enjoy miles of stunning coastal and moorland walks in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
